At Citizens, Penny spends her days happily answering phone calls and helping customers decide which services best meet their needs. She has an answer for most questions, and if she doesn’t she’ll find out. Also, Penny is an excellent problem solver.
What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?
Camping, reading, and shopping.
What is a little known fact about you?
I have an old hat collection, along with lots of love for history.
How do you use your Volunteer Time Off?
I volunteer at Angels Boutique for my VTO.
What is your favorite thing about your home?
My yard and the wildlife that live around me.
What is the secret to a good life?
Honesty. Being true to yourself. Loving others. Always remembering to be grateful for what you have in your life.
Tell us about something on your bucket list.
I would love to visit the Grand Canyon. When I was in Elementary school, a man used to bring in slide shows of his vacations, and the Grand Canyon trip was my favorite slide show. It has always stayed with me.
What was the last show you binge-watched? What made it interesting?
Live PD. I love the excitement, and it makes me appreciate the small town we live in.
Are you into podcasts or do you only listen to music?
Music. I listen to all types of music; my favorite is Country.
Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?
I disliked mayonnaise from the time I was small until I was in my early 20s. Now I like it.
What do you remember most about your first job?
My first paycheck and the responsibility of paying for things.
What makes you feel most alive?
Camping with my family and just hanging out without anything on our agenda.
