Keith Blair, Installation & Repair Supervisor

Keith supervises operations of the Fort Chiswell Broadband Team.  He oversees installations, runs trouble calls, and is responsible for scheduling maintenance of the nodes that provide service. Keith is instrumental in the testing and implementation of new technology for his hometown, the Fort Chiswell area.

What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?

Travel. My wife and I like to pick a different island in the Caribbean at least once a year for vacation.

How do you plan to use your Volunteer Time Off?

My wife volunteers at a food bank in Roanoke, and I plan on using my VTO to go with her to help.

What is your favorite thing about your home?

My dad started building our house when I was 8 years old, and I helped with a lot of the construction. I carried a lot of blocks and bricks for an 8 year old. It gives me a lot of appreciation and an attachment to it.

What is the scariest thing you have done for fun?

When I was younger, I jumped off a cliff about 30′ into the New River and had no idea how deep it was.

What was the last show you binge-watched? What made it interesting?

Stranger Things, it left me wondering what was going to happen next so I had to see the next episode.

Tell us about something on your bucket list.

My wife and I like to travel, and I would like to visit Italy, Egypt, and Hawaii someday.

Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?

Pineapple. When I was young the only pineapple I had tried was canned. My wife got me to try a fresh pineapple, and now I love it.
