Josh Dalton is one of our Plant Maintenance Technicians. You may see Josh marking plant facilities on the side of the road, or he might be operating a plow installing fiber optic cables. His job is vital to ensure the proper identification of Citizens plant facilities to keep our services operating in tip-top shape. Outside of work, Josh can be found on the athletic courts and fields cheering on his daughters. Usually a quiet man, Josh admits he can get pretty excited and loud during his daughters’ games. We are very happy to have Josh as a part of our team here at Citizens.
What is your favorite thing to do during your off time?
Most of my off time is spent on a softball field or a basketball court. I have two daughters that play travel softball and basketball. This takes up most of the year. I'm either watching them play or helping coach their teams. When we have a free weekend we like to go camping at various campgrounds in the area.
What is your favorite thing about your home?
My favorite thing about my home is the family room. This is where we as a family get together and watch movies, play games, or just relax and talk.
Tell us about something on your bucket list.
I would like to go to the Grand Canyon. I've always enjoyed being outdoors and the things God has made.
Are you into podcasts or do you only listen to music?
I listen to music. I enjoy listening to contemporary Christian music such as Toby Mac, Mercy Me, and many others.
What makes you feel most alive?
Being on the court or ball field with my kids. I'm normally a quiet person but on the ball field, I can get excited a lot quicker and get a lot louder.
What is the secret to a good life?
I think the secret to a good life is keeping God first in your life. Trying every day to be the best person you can be.
