Lori’s days are full of action. And it’s action she truly enjoys. She says, “It’s the perfect recipe for me — a little sales management mixed with a dash of number crunching and blended with a good bit of marketing.”
What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?
I love to spend time with my family and friends. Laughing with my husband and children. Giggles, snuggles, and making memories with my grandbabies.
What is a little known fact about you?
I’ve always been into crafts and decorating, but I’ve picked up painting with acrylics in the last few years. Also, not sure if people know I love Nascar — love that rumble!
How do you use your Volunteer Time Off?
I’m involved with several local organizations but I used my VTO hours with Christmas for All. It’s a rewarding experience to see how giving people in our community are. As a volunteer at Christmas for All, we package all the donations and ‘check the list twice’ to ensure that the Angel gets everything on their list. On Christmas morning, I can’t help but think that in some small way I helped bring a smile to the face of someone who I don’t even know.
What is your favorite thing about your home?
There’s truly no place like home. I’m so fortunate to walk out of my front door to overlook the farm of my childhood. Cool nights by the fire pit, and enjoying the fresh air with my family warms my heart.
What was the last show you binge-watched?
Since COVID -19, I have watched more TV than EVER. The latest has been “Night Shift”. I really admire people in the medical field. They are true heroes.
What makes you feel most alive?
Brainstorming and coming up with new ideas. I enjoy encouraging people to step out of the box and use their hidden talents. And hugs — it’s a transfer of positive energy.
