Keith’s day consists of installing new services and assisting customers with issues they may have. He typically works in Floyd County but also does service calls for the Fort Chiswell and New Castle areas. He also helps with Fiber Optic splicing when needed.
What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?
DIY projects and travel to new places.
How do you use your Volunteer Time Off?
I have not used VTO yet but would really like to help rebuild tornado-damaged communities.
What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done for fun?
Flying, but after I was in the air I loved it.
Tell us about a pet peeve you have.
I ride by a lot of dumpsters every day and don’t understand why you can’t get a little bag of trash in the big green box.
What music do you listen to and why?
When I was a teenager, I liked the headbanging music, but when I got older my ears couldn’t handle it. Now I love praise and worship music, and my wife got me hooked on John Denver and James Taylor. It’s really relaxing.
Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?
My wife. When we first met at work, we weren’t too fond of each other. Then we got married–strange world. Lol.
What makes you feel most alive?
Sitting on a white, sandy beach listening and watching the waves hitting the shoreline. But if I can’t be at the beach then sitting on my deck listening to the woods come alive.
What is the secret to a good life?
God and family.
Tell us about something on your bucket list. Why do you want to do that?
I would like to see the Sequoia trees in California. I’m just amazed at a tree so big you can drive through it.
