What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?
I love spending time with family and cooking.
How do you plan to use your Volunteer Time Off?
I would like to help out with Plenty.
What is a little known fact about you?
I received my nickname Mushie from my stepdaughter since she could not say Marsha when she was little. Now my family and my husband’s family call me Mushie, too.
What is your favorite thing about your home?
My home was my great grandmother’s home, and that property has been in my family for many years. She ran a store and also had a business selling country ham from this property.
What is the secret to a good life?
Family.
Tell us about something on your bucket list.
I would love to live in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It’s my happy place, and I enjoy fishing and the relaxed lifestyle there.
What was the last show you binge-watched?
The Walking Dead.
Are you into podcasts, or do you only listen to music?
I love to listen to music, but my taste is all over the place. I can go from listening to 80’s music to country.
What do you remember most about your first job?
I worked for my uncle’s tree farm making wreaths and roping for the holidays. The night crew tended to have a lot of shenanigans going on. One day the dayshift came in and found the porta-potty almost tipped over.
Tell us about a pet peeve you have.
I don’t like when people don’t clean up after themselves.
What makes you feel alive?
I love cooking/baking and sharing to make others happy.
