Tera Hale, Central Office Technician

At Citizens, Tera is one of the people who keeps internet, phone, and video running. She works on all sorts of equipment, but lately her time is mostly spent with fiber equipment–installing new blades, troubleshooting and keeping the connections flowing.

What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?

Hiking, wheeling in my Jeep, kayaking, working with horses, and playing in the ocean!

What is a little known fact about you?

I am an artist, and enjoy working with watercolors and acrylics.

How do you use your Volunteer Time Off?

I just started volunteering at New Freedom Farm, which provides support for veterans and their families using equine therapy.

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done for fun?

Surfing!!! I was so glad I did it, can’t wait to go again!

What do you remember most about your first job?

I remember it felt good to earn my own money and have some freedom.

Tell us about something on your bucket list.

I want to go to Alaska, because my grandfather went there when I was young and brought a picture book back for me, and I have wanted to go there ever since. He was also a pilot, so I have always wanted to learn to fly as well!
