What is your favorite thing to do on your off time?
Spending time with my family, traveling to new places, fishing, and attending sporting events.
How do you plan to use your Volunteer Time Off?
Once the Covid restrictions are lifted I plan to read books to the kids at Floyd schools.
What is a little known fact about you?
On my honeymoon, my wife and I flew into London right as a terrorist attack was taking place at the airport. I was truly excited to marry my wife, but wasn’t expecting to reach heart-attack level in the first week!
What is your favorite thing about your home?
My home is located on what used to be Grandpa’s horse farm. My wife designed our home and then my dad, brother, and I built the house. My favorite thing about the house isn’t a physical attribute, it’s the pride I have in the accomplishment.
What is the secret to a good life?
Being comfortable with who you are.
What was the last show you binge-watched? What made it interesting?
The Last Dance. The series was a behind the scenes look at the career of Michael Jordan. It was interesting to me because Jordan was my childhood hero. Watching the series brought back a lot of memories of watching the games with friends and family.
Tell us about a pet peeve you have.
Leaving the lights on in an empty room.
What makes you feel most alive?
When I come home after a long day and my kids rush out the door to greet me with a smile and a big hug.
